ARC: The Trident and the Pearl by Sarah K.L. Wilson

I really enjoyed this one. The writing is absolutely beautiful—lush, atmospheric, and steeped in that old-myth, legend-like feeling that makes the world feel deep and timeless. It was such an immersive read, and once I got into it, I didn’t want to leave.

I especially loved well done slow-burn love story. The husband’s quiet yearning and restrained devotion added so much emotional depth, and the romance unfolded in a way that felt subtle, tender, and very earned. The themes of betrayal also hit hard—trust is tested again and again, and those moments carry real weight for both the characters and the story as a whole.( I found myself going back and forth between empathizing with Coralys and wanting to yell at her to think about her actions.)

If you love rich prose, mythic vibes, slow-burn romance, and emotionally layered storytelling, this is definitely one to check out. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4 stars)
