An Emily Henry Rabbit Hole
Funny Story was such an enjoyable read. I loved the setup and how the relationship developed in a way that felt natural and a little messy, in the best way. It was sweet, funny, and easy to get invested in. Beach Read was another favorite for me. It’s a great balance of light romance and deeper moments, and I really liked how it explored creativity, grief, and opening yourself up to someone new.
That said, Book Lovers was hands down my favorite. The banter was top-tier, the chemistry was so good, and I loved how it played with (and pushed back against) classic romance tropes. It felt smart, fun, and very on-brand for anyone who loves books and characters with big personalities and ambition.
Overall, this little Emily Henry reading spree was a win. Her books feel cozy but still thoughtful, romantic without being over the top, and perfect when you want something engaging and comforting. If you’re thinking of picking one up, Book Lovers would definitely be my top recommendation.
